All enjoy charming views over the grounds and garden with numerous bird life and red squirrels. The double and twin en-suite room have a sea view and the Suite has a bay window overlooking the river.

We are ideally situated for hill walking or cycling. No need to bring your car.

Opportunities to explore the island on foot are many and varied:

For experienced hillwalkers : some steep and exposed scrambling. A climb to the top of Goatfell on a nice clear day : breathtaking views!

Walks to Arran's highest mountains : Beinn Nuis ,  Beinn Tarsuinn , Cir Mhor or Glen Rosa to the Saddle starts from our guest house. 

Gentle walks in the forest or along the coast for less experienced walkers.

Packed lunches can be ordered in the evening.

For cyclists : we have safe covered facilities for bikes. The Bike Rental Centre on the Island is in Brodick. 

Road cycling or mountain biking :  Arran Bike Club have identified a number of off road trails and 9 road routes around Arran on maps.
